Yes,We Can

Democratic President Barack Obama is the newly elected President of US.This is for the first time in US history when a non white citizen has become its head.He sworn in as the 44th head of the world's biggest power on January21,2009.
Mr. Prez was born on August4,1961 in Honolulu. He did his initial schooling from Indonesia and high schooling from Los Angeles. Then he genned up on Law at Harvard Law School in 1988.The wheels of his political career set in motion in 1997 and he became the state senator of Illinois. For the first time in 2004,he came into play as the senator of Democratic Party. His excursion into the race of US Presidential election nominees commenced in 2006.This was the first election campaign of America which lasted till 21 months and no expense was spared in it thereby making it the costliest election campaign costing the maximum of $ 5.3billion till date.He , in his autobiography,"AUDACITY OF HOPE"accepted that former Prez Mr.Bush had scoured out his hands after a hand shake with him in a meeting. He is highly influenced by Mahatama Gandhi,Martin Luther King Jr.and Nelson Mandela. With his never say die spirit , he reached atop.

How he can be good for India transcending national barriers?
-He is in espousal of India's Nuclear Programme thereby strengthening it.
-Many a times he has threatened Pak to stop its terrorist activities in India. His victory in this election can be highly important and supportive to terrorism prone India.Pak's terrorist activities will be regulated.

How he cannot be good for India?
-It is suspected that jobs for Indians in America will be cut down as Mr. Prez is not in favour of outsourcing. It can be a real slog to most of the Indian BPOs.
-He is in favour to reduce the VISA duration of foreign workers. This can be highly dismal for many Indians who have gone there in search of jobs.

The moral of the story is that it is yet to see that this "Yes We Can"Man will be a boon or a bane to our country but he is certainly gonna shake up the whole system.

  1. well the point with this line of thinking is that we think american politics are regulated by one man called the president. but this should be noted that unlike in india, american politics is greatly regulated by academicians, and they will never destroy their policy because their president likes 'gandhi'. American politics will have the same favour, albeit in a different name. If you think that he will favour or oppose certain things, then it's quite unadmirable, at least american history doesn't shows any great policy change except probably at the times of F. roosevelt. agian it should be noted that roosevelt's times were before the beginning of 2nd WW, not like now.
anyway, it's great to try to se the wiser: if it happens, we r right; if it doesn't, we r wiser!!!!!!
